Fantastic Food and Service
We ate here on our last night in Barbados. If we had ate here the first night we would probably wanted to go back every night. Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Service couldn't have been better. A little more expensive than some restaurants but worth it.
Enjoyed it so much we went back 2 days later
The food, the cocktails, the service, especially the sommelier, were all excellent. Interesting fish presentations (prosciutto encrusted barracuda) and the Goat cheese souffle really stood out. One of our favorites on a 10 day vacation.
An old favourite gets better
I don't know when Mullins received it's makeover (somebody told me it's now owned by the Royal Westmoreland Club) but what was a great place for lunch and drinks got a whole lot better. The food is excellent.....not complicated, just very tasty dishes from lovely salads and fresh fish to steaks, pasta, burgers and the famous Mullins rotis. The staff are unbelievably friendly and the bar is excellent. Mullins has always been a popular lunch spot but is also now open for dinner and the quality of the food definitely supports it as a late-night dining venue. Everything is pretty reasonably priced for the West Coast of Barbados also. Very kids friendly. And if it's too hot for you (particularly after eating a roti) just jump in the sea afterwards..... Strong recommendation. Would book in the peak season (Dec-April).
GREAT Restaurant
We visited Mullins Restaurant on out first night & it was a relaxing oasis after 20 hours on the go & just 4mins from our hotel "Bayfield House Hotel". Can recommend the scallops for starters & shrimp for main. Good wine list The staff were very pleasant & the location is superb, try for beach side table. Lunch time its busy but worth the wait for a table.
